Hampton Roads is proud to have the distinct honor of being one of the largest military installations in the world and now, host to CareerConnection's Transitioning Military / Skileed Trades Career Event. This event will bring together the top transitioning military (talent), experienced IT professionals, and many others. Meet face-to-face with hundreds of job candidates who possess various levels of military experience, active security clearances, and experience in information technology, software, engineering, skilled labor and other related fields.

Spring Career Day (April)

Hampton Roads’ Employers of Choice is a full color magazine style publication showcasing the best of the regions employers.  This publication will include editorial content that reflects key trends and relevant issues at the forefront in the human resources community.  Our focus in this year’s edition will be on Career Transitions. We will highlight the impact the recession has had – forcing workers of every working age generation into the employment marketplace. What's Next will aid 24,000 area high school students in a time when they are making crucial decisions about their futures. This tabloid style publication will be inserted into The Virginian-Pilot with an additional 29,000 copies being distributed directly to school guidance counselors.
